Visit & Donation Handover to An Orphanage - Rumah Titian Kasih

**THANK YOU** to our customers for showing your support in buying Raya gifts from us! Some of you may already know that with your Raya purchases - we have pledge RM2.00 for each Raya basket sold with the proceeds to be donated to an Orphanage. Rumah Titian Kasih located in Titiwangsa, Kuala Lumpur was chosen as the beneficiary.

For Raya 2009, we sold 68 gift baskets, which brings the total donations pledged to RM136.00. With that we have managed to buy the following items for Rumah Titian:

- 2 x 2liters bottles of dishwashing liquid
- 2 big cans of VICO
- 2 x 2liters of cordials
- 2 bags of laundry detergent
- 2 big tins of cream crackers
- 4 big cans of Kaya spread
- 3 bags of flour
- 2 bags of sugar
- 2 x 1kg bags of rice
- 4 big tubes of toothpastes
- 12 bars of bath soaps
- 2 big boxes of jelly candy
alongwith other items from our friends!

And off we went to deliver to them...

Photo taken with Mak Pah (the Administrator) and two kids from Rumah Titian. When we arrived at the home, most of the children were at school and some of the younger ones were taken on a small excursion. This little boy was left behind because he was not feeling well..but nonetheless was happy and chirpy to have us around.


"Boy" as he was affectionately called by Mak Pah, attempted to do a "peace" sign to the camera!


He kept rummaging through the pile, couldn't wait to have the cream crackers and the jelly candy!


Rumah Titian Kasih is very near to the Istana Budaya as you can see the tip of the blue roof on the far top right of the photo.



As we bid goodbye... "Boy" came running out to wave and yell out goodbye and ran back in giggling!
